Literacy Festival

Every February, we partner with Bookmans Entertainment Exchange and Phoenix Public Library to bring the Storyfest literacy festival to Burton Barr Central Library. Approximately 1,000 people fill the central library for a free book giveaway, themed literacy activities in the Children's Place, a prize drawing and a mini-expo of community partners. This year's theme was "Star Stories", and these kiddos had an astronomically good time!
